Relaxation is your birthright. This is something you have forgotten how to do, and rely on others to do it for you. The invitation of this five week course is for you to guide yourself into deeply relaxed intuitive states, without the use of a recording or listening to someone else’s words.
Up until now yoga nidra has been your portal for rest and being grounded, but somebody else has held the keys to that rest. You haven’t thought about it as something you can do for yourself and have relied on going to class or listening to a recording and don’t think you can relax unless it is ‘done’ to you. This disconnection from your own sense of self trust in the body creates a barrier to real internal change that makes a lasting difference in your life.

FINDING YOUR VOICE
You have a quiet voice of wisdom and kindness that is always if only you knew how to reflect it on yourself. Yoga Nidra gives you the tools to access this voice, which provides an intimate personal journey of coming home to yourself. This is a process of remembering and an invitation to awakening to your ever present inner resource.

This five week course is designed to give you the tools so you can tap into your own wellspring of deep wisdom, on demand, without going to class or listening to a meditation recording.
Develop your own committed self led practice of yoga nidra

Intuition and trust - Working with feelings, emotions as messengers. Developing an inner resource. Setting daily intentions and longer ranging heartfelt wishes.
WEEK FOUR -FREEDOM
Beliefs and emotions - working with stuck feelings.
Inviting joy and equanimity into the body as a felt sense.
WEEK ONE - WELCOME
Welcome home to yourself and the practice
Understanding the importance of welcoming without judgment and working with the states of Nidra.
WEEK TWO - REMEMBERING
The importance of body sensing and developing a friendliness with the self. Dreams, sleep and neuroscience. Breath for dreams and sleep.
BRING YOGA NIDRA INTO YOUR LIFE

Write out and record your own self practice and commit it to memory
Keep a yoga nidra journal for reflective practice and self learning
Learn wake up and bedtime rituals to bookend your day
Practice yoga nidra outside - nature amplification practice
Develop a free writing practice to remember your own intuitive wisdom
This course is designed to be trauma-sensitive and offers a clear space for healing, growth and self-empowerment.
The classes will include practice, theory, and explanation, plus support between classes through a private WhatsApp group.
All props are provided. Please bring a notepad and pen to the sessions.
The discoveries I made during the journaling part of the sessions were very powerful. By guiding us with carefully designed questions, Stephanie managed to weed out realisations that have truly changed the way I approach life and relationships, and the way I view myself.
