THE JOURNEY HOME Relaxation is your birthright. This is something you have forgotten how to do and rely on others to do it for you. The invitation of this five week course is for you to guide yourself into deeply relaxed intuitive states, without the use of a recording or listening to someone else’s words. Up until now yoga nidra has been your portal for rest and being grounded, but somebody else has held the keys to that rest. You haven’t thought about it as something you can do for yourself and don’t think you can relax unless it is ‘done’ to you. This disconnection from your own sense of self trust in the body creates a barrier to real internal change that makes a lasting difference in your life. FINDING YOUR VOICE You have a quiet voice of wisdom and kindness that is always if only you knew how to reflect it on yourself. Yoga Nidra gives you the tools to access this voice, which provides an intimate personal journey of coming home to yourself. REWRITE THE SCRIPT This five week course is designed to give you the tools so you can tap into your own wellspring of deep wisdom, on demand, without going to class or listening to a meditation recording. WEEK ONE - WELCOME Welcome home to yourself and the practice Understand the importance of welcoming without judgment WEEK TWO - REMEMBERING The importance of body sensing and developing a friendliness with the self. Dreams, sleep and neuroscience WEEK THREE - TRUST Intuition and trust - Working with feelings, emotions as messengers. Developing an inner resource. WEEK FOUR - FREEDOM Beliefs and emotions - working with stuck feelings Inviting joy and equanimity into the body as a felt sense. WEEK FIVE - CLARITY Integration - bringing the principles into practice and daily living. Find joy in the practice and easy relationship with life This course is designed to be trauma-sensitive, and offers a clear space for healing and growth. The classes include practice, theory, and explanation, plus support between sessions. All props are provided. Please bring a note pad to the sessions.
