I warmly invite you to join me for this weekly term time only restorative yoga class.

Find a space in your week to feel nourished and renewed through the gentle practice of restorative yoga, where the emphasis is on slowing down and opening rather than pushing and demanding.

A deeply nurturing form of yoga, restorative yoga postures help you learn to relax and rest deeply & completely. Each class includes a singing bowl meditation and yoga nidra.

WHAT TO EXPECT

During a session poses are supported, passive and held over a long period to invoke during deep relaxation, which is very healing to the nervous system (including the brain) and organ systems of the body.

A restorative yoga sequence typically involves only five or six poses, supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. Held for 5 minutes or more, restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends.

The classes are taught on Thursdays 8 -9:30pm - Term time only

The classes are taught in the beautiful Unitarian Meeting House in the centre of Bury St. Edmunds.

Parking is available in the Angel Hill car park, the Ark carpark or surrounding streets.

I invite you to arrive 15 minutes earlier to settle yourself into the meeting house.
