About the Event

I am delighted to welcome Kate Codrington, menopause mentor, facilitator, artist and writer, and therapist to share her wisdom and expertise on menopause.

Going through menopause can be tough, not just because of the physical elements, but the emotional and social elements too. You need to know that you are not alone.

This workshop is for anyone who is thinking about, or experiencing menopause and is curious about navigating this time with a conscious, healing perspective.

Kate will be sharing a radical re-framing of menopause as an opportunity for personal healing, empowerment and renewed creative vigour. This seasonal structure, with perimenopause as autumn and menopause as winter, will show how we can look forward to a whole new cycle of vibrant postmenopausal life, as well as offering easy-to-grasp clues for  self-care, and kindness, and avoiding burnout.

In a culture where menopause is viewed as a pathology to be feared and medicated, understanding these seasonal, psychological gifts and challenges offers reassurance and the possibilities of hope, healing, self-acceptance and spiritual growth.

This workshop is packed with insight, humour and take-aways for you to use in your everyday life. There will be time for Q &A in the group and Kate has offered a ‘soft exit’ and will stay for 15 minutes after the official meeting to answer any further questions.

Create a space where you can rest, journal, and move about, making sure you won't be disturbed so you can fully immerse yourself in the workshop. This workshop will be recorded and you will find the recording in the 'topics-workshops' section if you can't join us live.

Author of Second Spring the self-care guide to menopause, Kate is a mentor, speaker, facilitator, artist, writer and has been a therapist for 30 years. A pioneering spirit, Kate was the first to graduate as a Menstruality Medicine Circle facilitator, is the host of Life - An Inside Job podcast, creates multi-level art textile projects and seasonal Yoga Nidra inspired by the land where she lives in Hertfordshire. When she’s not doing these things you’ll find her playing in her compost heaps.

Once you have booked you will receive a zoom link.
